Alison Doody

Alison Doody is a Dublin native born to a rich family in Dublin the Irish city in 1966. Doody is the youngest of three. She attended a convent where she developed an appreciation for art. After a few years her return to the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. In the end, because she was lacking enthusiasm, she decided to take a rest and would give the school ten months. While she was with her colleagues in a caf a still-photographer approached her and asked whether she'd be interested in modelling. She agreed, thinking she'd be able to make use of the cash for pocket cash. Soon after, she realized modeling profitable and enjoyable. It was possible for her to travel around the globe for her commercial ventures after completing modeling contracts. A casting director was impressed by her modeling skills and encouraged her to take up acting. At age 19, she was referred to London in which she was selected for the chance to audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985) which was a brand new James Bond movie. Acting was her passion and she ultimately decided to go after a career as an actor. She directed TV dramas both in London as well as Dublin immediately following her debut film.
